Within the last 2 weeks I lost one of my closest friends in the world. His name was Cody Jackson. You may have chatted with him on this site using cloudnyne or something similar. I just wanted to add a photo of a GREAT friend and just say that he will ...
ALWAYS BE MISSED & NEVER FORGOTTEN.
We Love You Cody, Adam & Cori |
Cody was a quiet guy, but once you spoke with him you would know that he is someone that would never judge or hurt anyone.
For years he put up with me and I appreciated his quiet confidence - he was smart and would stand up for the little guy. He was always there for me - I miss you bro. That's Cody chillin' with Kiki. |
Cody is the one that made me pick up where I left off and get Evansville Scene back on track. I gave him a sticker a long time ago and he stuck it on his monitor and that's where it stayed. The new version of this website coming around is dedicated to Cody.
Cody was a geek like myself, ITT Tech educated to the max. Helped me build, fix, and learn about computers. See you someday my friend. Wish you were here. |
About 6 months ago I wasn't feeling very well and Cody wanted to get me out of the house for a while. He took me to Wal-Mart and borrowed the handicapped chair.
He had me cracking up so hard I could barely take this picture. It made more than my day - it's set in my mind forever.
He had an uncanny ability to sense when someone was down. He would always drop by and even if it was to watch a movie, hang out or just listen, he always had an ear to lend and never any judgment. It won't be easy to keep everything bottled up now without Cody, it's all too unreal - I wish he would just call.
